Translate Customer Messages

Re:amaze includes a built-in translator that helps you communicate with customers who write in other languages.

Before using message translation, set your default language. Re:amaze uses this language both to translate incoming messages and to detect when a message is written in a different language.

Set your default language

To set your default language:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Personal Settings
  2. Select your preferred option from the Language dropdown

When a customer sends a message in another language, the message appears in its original form. To view the translation, select Translate below the message. The translated version is shown in your selected language.

You'll now see the message appear in your preferred language. If for any reason you need to see the customer message in its original language, you can select Show Original.

NOTE: Translation applies only to incoming customer messages. Messages sent by staff are not automatically translated for customers.
