Magento: How-To

Part 1 - Adding the Reamaze FAQ

A FAQ can be extremely useful for your customers, especially when it comes to frequently asked questions, shipping info, etc. First, you need to create one or more topics and articles for your FAQ (Magento Admin Panel >> Reamaze >> Articles).

Once you've created some articles for your FAQ, all you need to do is to add an element that matches the FAQ Container selector (System >> Config >> Reamaze >> Settings >> Website Integration) to a page on your site. By default, the selector is #reamaze-kb, and adding the following HTML element to a page will embed the FAQ:

<div id="reamaze-kb"></div>

Example - Creating a CMS page containing the FAQ:
  1. Add a new page from the Magento Admin Panel >> CMS >> Pages >> Add New Page button

  2. Enter a page title and url for the page

  3. Click on 'Content' on the left, and in the editor, click on the HTML button.

  4. Add the following in the text box: <div id="reamaze-kb"></div>&nbsp; and click the Update button.

  5. Click 'Save Page'. Navigate to the created page's URL (entered in step #2), and you should see the FAQ embedded on the page.

Part 3 - Adding the Reamaze Lightbox Embed

Support Lightbox

The support lightbox is a great way to allow customers to start a conversation with you right on your website or in your application.

Any link or element on a page can be made to trigger the support lightbox if it matches the CSS selector in the Reamaze Settings in the Magento System Configuration ( System >> Configuration >> Reamaze >> Settings >> Website Integration ).

For example, by default, the trigger is .contact-us and the following HTML would trigger the lightbox and can be placed anywhere on your site:

<a href="javascript:;" class="contact-us">Get Support</a>

Another example - to make the following HTML element trigger the support lightbox, change the trigger to #support-link:

<a href="javascript:;" id="support-link">Contact Support</a>
